Company History

Daedong Industrial, the company that would eventually become KIOTI®, was founded in South Korea in 1947, right after World War II. For almost 40 years, most of the company’s products were only sold in South Korea, but in 1986, they exported their first compact tractor model to the United States. They founded an American branch, Daedong-USA, in 1993 to make international equipment sales much easier, and changed the name to Kioti (pronounced like “coyote”) for these markets.
